statements of complaint issued by the Secretary-General Luigi Angeletti of the UIL news agency Ansa, about the enormous cost of politics in Italy.:
(ANSA) - ROMA, 25 FEB -''In the last 10 years costs of politics have been increased by 40%. The income of workers increased just over 20%. In no other European country and it 'had an increase of this thickness.''

''In our country we spend 30% more for the operation of the policy, with a growth twice that in other countries of the euro,''still show Angeletti,''arguing that the road will not be easy, there will be obstacles on the part of the political system in Italy and 'heavy''but''we are convinced that this is' one thing to do, a goal, not a battle.'' According to the leader of the UIL,''an awareness would benefit the country, allow our politicians to have a more sober and give back a bit 'more credibility to Italian politics.'' Stressing that''the costs are often wasted Angeletti''notes that''the same population have the highest number of persons elected for public office and the highest number of persons nominated by the policy functions is quasi-public, paid from public coffers. I know it 'more difficult to apply the policy to reduce its costs and fees''but''the differential with other European countries should be reduced,''concludes a number of UIL.
