Se vi compaiono informazioni sui file di SWAP presenti/assenti non preoccupatevi, per l'utente comune non è essenziale approfondire questo punto, proseguite pure.

Terminata la fase di partizione vi chiederà il vostro nome, il nome utente da utilizzare sul computer, la password (attenti a non scordare questi dati, rischiate di dover rifare tutto), il nome del PC e se accedere in automatico al sistema.

Se avete scelto due sistemi operativi vi chiederà se desiderate importare alcune impostazioni da windows, fate a vostro gusto non c'è problema.

A questo punto comparirà una schermata con un breve sommario e il titolo " Pronto per l'istallazione "
Confermate con " Installa "... e lasciatelo lavorare, ci vorrà parecchio tempo (indicativamente il tempo di preparare due spaghetti aglio/olio/peperoncino)

Dopo parecchio lavorio comparirà la schermata che vi conferma l'installazione

Togliete il CD d'installazione e riavviate la macchina.

Se avete scelto due sistemi operativi al riavvio ci troveremo la possibilita' di scegliere su usare Ubuntu o Windows. (scelta da tastiera con freccia sù - freccia giù e Invio).


Lasciate la scelta proposta che è Ubuntu e buon lavoro... a proposito non avete scordato nome utente e password che avete impostato vero?

La necessità sempre più diffusa di disporre di una casella di posta elettronica certificata vi ha fatto acquistare una Legalmail box.

Se arrivate a questa pagina rasserenatevi che c'è la soluzione, ma procediamo con ordine.

RASSERENATEVI
Non siete imbranati, il problema deriva da una lacuna di Outlook Express e non da una vostra incapacità tecnica!

Prima soluzione (consigliata)
Se utilizzaste un programma di posta elettronica decoroso, come ad esempio Thunderbird (che è anche sempre gratuito e liberamente scaricabile da http://www.mozillaitalia.it/thunderbird/ ) non avreste alcun problema, questo client di posta ha l'esportazione LDIF nativa.
Quindi:
a) scaricate e installate Thunderbird,
b) esporate la rubrica da Outlook Express in Thunderbird (fattibile senza problemi),
c) da Thunderbird esportate la rubrica in formato LDIF e caricate questo file nella rubrica di Legalmail.
Otterrete il duplice risultato della rubrica in Legalmail correttamente importata e di disporre di un client di posta decente.

Seconda soluzione
Se non volete proprio rinunciare al client di posta che utilizzate usate un programmino di conversione da CSV o WAB a LDIF quindi:
a) scaricate un programma di conversione rubriche, io vi propongo il programma gratuito scaricabile dal sito
http://htmole.altervista.org/info/dawn.htm
b) installatelo ed eseguite il dawn wizzard per convertire il file CSV o WAB in LDIF.
Attenzione che questo software funziona solo su sistemi Windows.

Terza Soluzione
Funziona con tutti i sistemi operativi poichè operate sul WEB
Dovete disporre del file della rubrica in formato VCard, se il vostro client di posta vi fornisce questo formato siete a metà dell'opera altrimenti procedete in questo modo.

Partendo dal formato CSV (usando la virgola come separatore di campo) attraverso il sito

convertite in vCard format, saving the result to file.
